That would depend on the size of the pallet, but in most cases, the answer would be no as you’d need to fit it through a door, which isn’t very wide. With that said, you won’t have the need to fit a pallet into your newly hired freezer room as it will come with an adequate number of shelves to keep everything organized.

Our Fridge Trailers, Freezer trailers and Cold Rooms all require at least 3kw of power.

The generator must be capable of delivering this continually, and therefore should be of a higher output than required.

Do not attempt using a generator that provide less power than listed. Otherwise you risk spoiling your products as our units will not be able to function properly!

A good general use generator we would recommend is from HSS.

They are more than adequate to run up to 2 of our trailers and therefore will be able to suit your needs perfectly.

Small Petrol Generators are not adequate to run our units and we recommend you research when making your decision on what generator to use.

Icecool Trailers delivers all across the country, we have a fantastic location just off of the M4 and the A34 allowing us to cover the southern half of Britain very quickly.

Icecool fridge trailers are purpose-built refrigeration units built into a twin-axle towable trailer.

They are wired with lighting and are powered from a standard 240v 13 amp and (usually a 16 amp 240v outdoor weatherproof power socket).

Our trailers are fitted with locks and a rear step for easier access.

Shelf racking is fitted to all trailers making them an ideal walk-in mobile fridge.

They are ideal as temporary refrigeration in the event of equipment breakdown, or just as an additional cold storage facility for food and drinks.

We have had our units hired for a number of reasons including horse shows, agricultural fairs and restaurant solutions.

Whether you want to hire a refrigerated trailer, a cold room, or any of our other services, the quoted price will include delivery, installation, maintenance, and collection of the unit. Upon delivery, our team will also supply you with all the cables and tools necessary to operate and run your newly hired refrigeration unit.

The quote you receive based on your requirements will include the delivery and collection of the fridge trailer from your site, the installation, as well as all the cables, tools, and equipment necessary to make the most out of the newly hired trailer.

Our fridge and freezer trailers are towed to your venue/ location and set up for use by us.

A cold room or freezer room is installed by us at your premises or venue.

Typically, a trailer will be used outside a premises (perhaps adjacent to the kitchens or by a marquee at a show), whereas our cold rooms and freezer rooms can be installed inside or outside.

Our cold rooms and freezer rooms are made of independent panels which Icecool staff assemble making an installed cold room (or freezer room). The trailers require very little setting up.

Modular cold rooms are usually used in locations where a trailer is not appropriate.

All of our chiller trailers can be plugged into 13 or 16 AMP systems. If you don’t have direct access to electricity, you can also use a generator to power up your freezer trailer.

If you have access to the power grid, you’ll need to plug the trailer in using a 13 AMP 3-pin socket or a 16 AMP C-form socket. In case you don’t have access to the power grid, you can use a power generator to power up the trailer.

To power up one of our cold rooms, you’ll need either a 16 AMP ‘C’ form socket or a 13 AMP 3-pin socket. If your site is in a remote location without direct access to electricity, you can also use a power generator to power it up.

Both our 1.8m and 3.0m modular freezer rooms can be powered up through either a 13 AMP 3-pin or a 16 AMP ‘C’ form socket. They can also be powered up either directly through a power socket or via a portable generator.

Our chiller trailers can be parked up both indoors and outdoors. Where you want your fridge truck rental to be parked up and installed is completely up to you. With that said, it needs to be within 20m of the power supply or power generator you plan on using to power up the trailer.

Our freezer rooms specifically are designed for indoor use only. This is not only because they need to be placed on a flat surface, but also because they need access to power to operate.

Unlike our freezer rooms for hire, there are no strict rules about where you can or can’t put your freezer trailer. Whether you need it indoors or outdoors, the only real requirement is that you park it within 20m of a power source.

Our walk-in modular cold rooms can be installed in a variety of places, depending on what you plan to use them for and the size of the cold room you decide to hire. Some examples include inside cafes, supermarkets, construction sites, and warehouses.

We serve customers nationwide and have made deliveries as far north as Sheffield. With that said, the large majority of our customers are situated in the southern half of the UK. We will try, wherever possible and depending on current demand, to supply you with a fridge or freezer trailer if you are in the 'southern half' of the UK.

Often, we can provide same day refrigeration hire and sometimes even within a couple of hours (especially for emergency refrigeration replacement following a fridge or freezer breakdown).

We don't have any specific supply area and have recently delivered our trailers as far north as Sheffield and as far southwest as Exeter, although typically most of work clusters around the M4 corridor from Central London to South Wales, down to south coast and up to Birmingham and the Midlands (and all places in between along the M40/ M42 and M5 routes).

Deliveries to Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk are not uncommon either.

Usually, we'll be able to help you with any temporary refrigeration needs and as each request is different it really does pay to ask us even if you are outside of our normal area of operations.

Being so well-positioned (just off the M4 and A34 trunk routes), we can get to most places in the southern half of Britain the same day, depending on when you contact us.
